21. I just read where the Warren Commission was a cover up
because they knew Castro was involved and if the American people found out, they would demand retribution against Castro. So, in order not to have WWIII start, the Warren Commission blamed it on Oswald and closed the book. No one will come clean because they believe they did what they did in the best interests of the American people.

My money is on the Military Industrial Complex and other RW organisations(BFEE).

26. In a nutshell: The CIA hatched a plot to assassinate Castro
as a warm up to the Bay of Pigs invasion. They hired Mafia hit men to do the job. One of the men, a guy by the name of Trafficante - an exiled Cuban, was hired. He supposedly had a beef with Castro because he owned nightclubs in Havana before Castro came to power.

Anyway, Trafficante turned out to be an informant for Castro and let him know each time there was an attempt on his life.

Castro became angry at the attempts on his life and swore to get Kennedy in return. The Mafia, pissed off at Robert's crack down of organized crime, was his willing accomplice. So, the plot against Castro turned into a plot against Kennedy.

Here's an interesting aside: Jack Ruby didn't even vote for John Kennedy - but he did make several trips to Cuba.

31. It was - absolutely. But, it seems there is a good chance
Castro really did have his hand in it. Here is a quote from Castro dated September 7, 1963: "We are prepared to fight them and answer in kind. United States leaders should think that if they are aiding terrorist plans to eliminate Cuban leaders, they themselves will not be safe."

39. Santo Trafficante was the Mafia Don of Florida. He and Carlos Marcello
who was the Don of New Orleans, along with Jimmy Hoffa, had an axe to grind with JFK. RFK, the AG at the time, went out and prosecuted a boatload of mob guys. He even had Marcello abducted and deported(dumped off) to Honduras.
Kennedy actually wanted to "make nice" with the USSR and Cuba, which pissed off the mob because their Casinos were all closed down due to communism. It was quite complicated. There were several camps involved.
What it came down to was that Kennedy wanted an end to the Cold War and no involvement in Viet Nam. The Military Industrial Complex had a lot of money to be made and JFK wanted to put a damper on that.

61. This one is easy...
socks are the larval stage of wire hangers. That's why no matter how many wire hangers you throw out there's always more in the back of the closet. The socks migrate there from the dryer then go through a coccooning stage and emerge as wire hangers.

My momma told me so it MUST be true. :)

I highly recommend this book (available at http://www.levity.com/aciddreams/)

At the site are some declassified CIA documents from MK-ULTRA (http://www.levity.com/aciddreams/dox.html)

Among the documents that were destroyed was a CIA manual entitled:
"LSD: Some Un-Psychedelic Implications."
