I've got to leave work in a tad under half an hour - and need to get a fair bit done before that, so I'm closing down D.U. to stop temptation.

If you do feel an inexplicable need to ask me anything - I will actually answer, but it's unlikely to be before tomorrow morning.

Just a boring meeting - though sinking a few pints at the local pub afterwards was fun.

I'm not a great fan of fish so I'll pass on your offer - but I'm most greatful, I'm sure that they'd be far preferable to the cornish pasty I bought at the railway station coming home.

Trust me, they would have been much better. It was just a little stall at the station - essentially tasteless - just needed something to soak up the alcohol...

It was just a quick dash into London for a committee I sit one, then a few drinks in a pub afterwards. The latter part was very enjoyable.

You should know that you're always welcome to join me for a few drinks in a pub - which goes for all of the wonderful people on D.U. - just a pity I couldn't offer you Fijians with palms fronds. :shrug:
