Felt is a criminal because he released information that allowed criminals to be convicted of their crimes. And North & Liddy are heroes because they committed crimes for the good of their country.

Besides, Mark Felt is NOT responsible for the down fall of Nixon! The four Cuban burglars pleaded guilty to burglary. The other two, McCord and Liddy went to trial and were convicted of the same charge. But for McCord writing to the judge telling him there were others involved in the break-in the matter would have remained closed. Therefore, if anyone is responsible for bringing down their precious Nixon, it's one of their own: McCord.

Up until now, I didn't know squat about Ben Stein's political views. And didn't particularly care.

But the two public letters he wrote recently contain so many breathtaking misunderstandings I don't see how anyone can consider him smart or well-informed:
