I have such a cool dog.

Yesterday I was hanging out with my husband and my Golden, Cody. My other dog was sleep as usual. We were talking about how social Goldens are and my husband ask Cody if he is a socialist and Cody barks. I am not sure if it was a yes or a no bark, so I ask if he is a commie dog and he growls at me. Next I ask if he is conservative and he started whining and looking very sad. So my last question is if he is a liberal pup and jumps up and starts dancing around. What a smart doggie he is.

Friend of mine was over and i asked my dog if he believed in the Austruan school of economics. He growled. Then, i asked him if he believed in deregulation of industry as a means to growth. Same thing.

Then, i asked him if he believed in slightly more Keynsian approach of a fully regulated capitalism and he jumped up and licked my face.

My friend thought that was a hoot.

the greats of the past - and the statue that the speakers admired of Dr. something.

A discussion of liberal ideas/peace follows and how the world is now better, and a comment that they missed the good doctor and his kind.

Turns out the Doc found the gene to give dogs the ability to talk and have an ape like thumb. And these speakers were Dogs who missed the humans who had gone on to starve and otherwise kill each other off.

As I get older I notice how much smarter the dogs are, expecially when compared to some conservative friends.
