Once again, I received highest honors

from one of my kitties. A not-quite-dead mouse. First thing this morning. Almost stepped on the sucker while going in to make coffee.

And yes, I praised them and said thank you.

It's good to be loved. ;-)

1. I use to have a cat that would bring me all kinds of "gifts".

I would find all manner of dead things on my pillow, morning & night. I could never get mad because she was always so proud.

After such a gift, my cat Mitzi used to strut around in circles, arching her back, purring her head off. The two of us would be standing over the dead mouse ooohing and ahhhing.
