I thought some alcohol induced activism might be fun and getting to know each other locally might be good for the coming political year.

I'm in Fremont. Anyone up for it?

:hi:

but I'm busy through halloween weekend... perhaps maybe next week or beyond?

I was just in Fremont Tuesday night, in fact, for the Pirates of Emerson

3. cool!
We've had a few bay area gatherings, last one was just last week after the rally. And we've had a couple of picnics in GG park, and whenever a DUer visits the area we get them drunk :-)

all are welcome!

8. San Jose would work for me
Especially since nothing much happens here in the left leaning realm. Everything happens in Berkley, S.F. and Menlo Park.

5. Sounds great!
I don't frequent the lounge as much as I used to...but I do check in on Activism/Event threads. Mind posting a thread there, too? :hi:

How does BART accessible sound to you? After all, activist friends don't let activist friends drive drunk/tipsy and we deserve a party, no?

we've met 3 times now at Tommy's Joynt on Van Ness, kinda-sorta-not-BART-INaccessible, anyway

another gathering place is out of the city, and we all have to cruise there, so rides are available too
