God I love the media in this city

I get a call from a friend of mine that works at a local paper...I hear, "Jeremy line one, it's Tracy."

"OOO," I thought. "What kind of crazy story is going on? Corrupt politician, police shootout... strange new policy?"

Instead it was

"Hey, we're short a man for our beach volley ball game on Tuesday. Wanna sub?"

"I'm there!" I said.

No pulitzers this time.
