Does liking The Corrs make you a bad person?
A while back, Muzak put "Summer Sunshine" by The Corrs in the rotation they sell to The Home Depot. It's a catchy little tune about a young lady pining for the guy who dumped her, but I like it anyway.

Is this bad?

You should get their "Live in Dublin CD. It's great. Has a great duet with Bono on it too. Ron Wood also guests.

This is Andrea Corr, the lead singer...



One thing I have noticed about the few Corrs songs I've heard is that they sing with Irish accents. A lot of British-isles singers use an unaccented voice (most British bands do this; also The Cure, who are Welsh, sing unaccented); Phil Collins and the Corrs both sing with their native accents. That's cool. Shows pride in your native land.

To each his own as far as music goes, but there can be no acceptable reason for liking George Bush. Stupidity is no excuse when it has cost thousands upon thousands of human lives.

9. Well, bad Democrat with no taste buds, anyway
Man, I was buying some beer at Harris Teeter last week (which is the best place in Fayetteville besides Bob's Overpriced Wine Shop to get unique beers) when a woman asked me if there was something "lighter" than Coors Light. "You know, something that's not quite so 'beery' tasting."

I hooked her up with some Perrier.
