I swear the handicapped are baiting me

Yesterday I am driving to work headed due east. The sunlight is right in my eyes and as I am about to changed lanes to make a right turn I see SOMETHING in the right hand lane. I was going about 30 and this guy on crutches is trying to cross the street about a third of the way up the block If I hadn't seen the crutches I probably would have hit him.

THEN this morning as I am trying to take a left, going very slow thank God, and as I am making sure to get around the car already on the street I see a older man (looked to be Vietnam Vet age) in a wheelchair with no legs. I hit the brakes and the work truck that was following me into the turn locked it up and almost hit my car which probably would have pushed me into the man in the wheelchair. I ended up pulling over and the guy in the car already on the street and I helped the wheelchair bound guy across the street, he was stuck in the cobblestones.

THEN as I sat behind a little SUV type car at a stoplight the light turns green and suddenly from in front of the city bus beside us a woman walks right in front of the SUV. She made it.

*sniff*

Karma you know!

Okay once in a while at the bank where there are three spots and no one is in the parking lot. But I swear that is the only time. Honest, I hate seeing people doing that.
