And ROFLMAO some more! Speaking as someone who was a mother before she was ready (actually, are we ever REALLY ready, lol!), that is DEFINITELY on the right track! I think that alone would do more good than a hundred abstinence billboards. I'm surprised one of the other shoppers didn't pop the kid themselves!

17. You pick up your child and leave the store
and go home. Right then. Don't talk, don't placate, don't dawdle. No dessert/tv/whatever their fav activity is.

Do this a couple times and they won't pitch a fit in public anymore.

I'd have NEVER dreamed of acting like that! My Mom would have spanked my butt to the point that I'd have never fogotten it! I'm flinching at the very thought--and I'm 43 years old!!

Yes, kids like that one are exactly why I buy into the concept of requiring "Parents' Ed" classes just like they do before they let you drive a car... (Before the flames start, I have a six year old of my own!)
