Jon Stewart totally soft-pedaled with Ringo Starr tonight.
That guy totally lucked out in joining the Beatles, and Jon Stewart let it slide.

He could have at least asked him whether Pete Best got screwed.

1. Ringo is a good drummer
I'm sure that had something to do with him being in the Beetles.

3. Why?
Ringo is an old man, why would you want Jon Stewart to crap on an old man?

5. When I think of all the famous people deserving to be grilled by tough
questions Ringo doesn't have very high priority.

8. For the sarcastically impaired
He was poking fun at the people who freak out when Jon doesn't tear apart right-wingers who come on his show.

15. I'm usually at work when he is on
I will have to buy a tape and record his show to see what it is all about. I've heard a lot of DUers say that it is good.

11. Apparently, tuvor does not think right wingers should be torn apart.
Since he disagrees with, and makes fun of, people who believe right wingers should be torn apart.

Either that or tuvor has no respect for the Beatles and Ringo.

14. In either case
I guess we should put tuvor down on our list of people to be torn apart.

20. I'd Set Fire To My Entire Family To Keep Jon Warm
But I'm afraid the vast walrus conspiracy has pressured Jon into softballing aging rockers.
