They convicted him of the lesser charge over the murder charge. Whatever, it still means life in prison for the 80 year old man.

I think the movie Mississippi Burning is based on the story of those civil rights workers killed by this man.

4. Well since he has been in very bad health and
he is 80, I think he will rot there. I think the minimum for manslaughter is 20 years.

7. I honestly don't give him very long to live.
He had an accident a few months back where some tree limbs fell on him and he was in bad shape and it delayed the trial. Then the other day his blood pressure was very very high and he had to be rushed to the hospital where he was in ICU. So, I don't think he'll last too long, but at least before he died, justice was served.

I wouldn't want to go there for anything. I don't think he'll be widely accepted there! Plus I don't think even the nastiest of nasty would want to pound his ass! :puke:
