Would it be incredibly self-serving to do a happy dance here?

I just finished the last of my course work. All I have left is wrapping up the dissertation (oh, and then defending it) and it'll be Dr. Patriot to you. :patriot:

Damn this "senioritis" is crippling, but thank you for allowing me a little bit of self-congratulatory back patting. No more classwork!!!!

well...at least congrats on finishing the course work....

defending the dissertation is tricky (see Getting Straight with Elliot Gould and Candice Bergen)but you'll come through it well.

I remember how happy I was to finish my last graduate course. Of course I was even happier to finish my Ph.D. Now my job is to teach at the college level, so I guess I never really quite escaped the classroom after all.
