lighter work load, kid out of school, trekking to pool and camp. I am going to do some recording this weekend for a pal who asked me to play drums on his monthly website release. That's pretty cool, since I haven't recorded for a while!

32. Bishop of Bath and Wells, to give him his full title.
Bishop: "Be it animal, vegetable or mineral, I'll do anything to anything."

Edmund (deadpan): "Fine words for a bishop!"

10. That gets my vote, too
and perhaps Major Star in second...where BlackAdder organizes a revue and Melchett falls in love with George in drag.

33. Webster? Don't you mean Samuel Johnson?
That would be "Ink and Incapability."

PRINCE GEORGE: "I mean, after all, we're all English here, aren't we?" (exits)
BLACK ADDER: "You're not. You're German."

and, of course..."sausage???"

23. "It is the way of things."
The way "Sense And Senility" skewers the theater brings tears to my eyes.

"I assumed that being actors, you're lucky to sleep with anyone."

"I assumed you just got drunk, stuck on a silly hat and trusted to luck."

"WAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!! Unaccustomed as I am to public speaking--"

knowing british history and how many men were lost like that in WWI made it all the more poignant

18. It is the best... and funniest by far until that final scene.
It's everything MASH (the series) tried to be.

I also like the one where Baldrick is named to the House of Lords by Pitt the Amoeba, and the one where Baldrick accidentally burns Johnston's dictionary transcript: "Baldrick, who told you you could turn into an Alsatian?"

15. Honestly, hard to choose but the last of Forth had me in tears when
the boys went up the ladder shooting their way into No Man's land.. then all faded to a sweet field of Flanders Poppies and whistling birds.

Slays me every time.

and constructs an impressive juggernaut from a broken down school bus to escape. Or wait....maybe I'm thinking of the A-Team.

29. While I like most anything from Blackadder II & III
I would probably vote for Beer, thanks to the immense talents of Miranda Richardson as Queenie.

Queenie: I may have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a concrete elephant.
