How can I be in a spot where I have these two great choices?
Then again, why do I feel like in the real world, with either choice, I am still going to be dumped?
So I might as well go with flowers - they are cheaper, or can be.

I've sent flowers before; not you, granted, but I have done. I've never gone on a balloon ride, so that would be a new thing; well two new things, since I've never met you.

with some kick-ass weed. wine, bread and a lifeboat. starting at night on a symbolic journey eastwards over the ocean.

When darkness reigns and only a few bright stars shine and the moon mirrors in the water we will smoke (or i will at least). Enjoying the wine and philosophize on how the world is dark but it's the light and good that makes it beatiful and leads our way, while protecting ourselves from the wind with a blanket.

When the morning we take a breakfast with bread, fried ham, milk and fruit juices while we witness the fight between the indifferent grey, the egoistic red and the altruistic blue fight for dominance on the sky seeing the sun turn from red to yellow, the sky from purple to blue and the dark water to green.

until when the dark vanishes and all is blue in sky and green on sea we will recognize that no matter how bad things go, no matter how dark the night the next morning will bring hope and as long light doesn't cease to be shed the sky will be blue and the sea will be green. as will our minds and actions if we are enlightned.

and when we return from the idyllic journey and see that the world is still at odds and the sun isn't getting less red we will remember the words of Paolo Coelho:

"Might your armor shine in the morning, may you enjoy your victory, after noon we'll defeat you."

and Mahatma Gandhi:

"Be the change you want to see"

if we look deep into our creed/faith that the red thread in it will be

"Sow smiles when you live and reap tears when you die, because they will be the only riches your soul takes with it after life"

then i'd slowly turn the ballon back to the coast. and at the separation i'd give you the pink rose of friendship, ""or" doesn't mutually exclude both choices" "Thank you for the journey", kiss your hand goodbye and disappear in the city leaving you to recognize you don't even know my name though you'e seen in my soul and i in yours.

...what possible scenario could there be that those would be the only 2 choices? seriously, other than you taking someone hostage and making them choose or die, i can't think of any. in which case i would go with flowers, because it would be over quicker and if you shot me you could throw the flowers on my corpse.

You do a thread that is similar in content or syntax to an existing thread. It's a disease in the lounge. Mostly, people are trying to be funny. Sometimes people don't see the connection if they missed the original thread.
