Pink Floyd Fans: Hell Freezes Over

So am I the last guy to hear that the impossible has actually happened? Pink Floyd has re-formed to play the Live 8 show happening this Saturday in 8 cities around the world. The event is organized by Bob Geldof to once again bring attention to hunger and poverty in Africa. Floyd will be playing in Hyde Park, London. All original members(except Sid of course) will be onhand. This is like HUGE for PF fans, who know that Roger Waters and David Gilmour really, and I mean really hate each other. I have been looking around but cannot find a mention anywhere of what they intend to play. Get your Tivo ready, it's going to be aired live on MTV and VH1 this coming Saturday!!!!!

I like it when bands go their separate ways and just end it. There is something respectable about that.

However I am glad that Pink Floyd is doing this for a charity sort of event and not to just make a bunch more money, so I guess it is okay in this situation. But if they tour and make money, unless on the tour they play "The Final Cut" in its entirety, I will be very disappointed in the Floyd.
