10. my bosses used to ask for three months notice.....
and then say "it's not a good time" every single time. bastards! Oh, that would be such a good combo, NY and DC. I'm iffy on the protest myself but it's tempting. i had a great time in DC in january.
11. I was at the march for women's rights in DC last April. It was great.
I could take the train down to Philly or to DC itself. I don't get to do that kind of thing much here.
We had been understaffed at work, ut as of Friday, we're fully staffed so time off should be easier to get. I only have about two weeks of vacation saved up. :D
I hate going into boring details on a thread where we ought to be talking about chocolate. what if someone from GD came here found out we were off script? :scared: did you know Jacque cheated in a choc molding contest in france by dipping a whole bicycle in chocolate? apparently he was raised in a very competative enviornment, as far as the choclate goes. i had a few cookies of his a while back. just amazing. there, that should keep the lounge police busy. nothing to see here except chocolate talk. uh huh.
i'll know better in a month or so what my deal is financially. although i did stay in a great place relly cheap. the jury's doyle on dupont. what day does it fall on, do you know?
It might help that there's nothing else I feel like watching. I did have to switch channels when Mario Batali was cutting up the fresh meat, but after it was cooked, I was ok.
