4. He was the coach I grew up with.
Well, actually Jerry Burns was coach from around 1988, when I first started watching them, to 1991. But I have a lot more memories of Denny's teams.

Drew Bledsoe
Or whoever the Cowboys quarterback is that season. The only thing that comes to mind is whether or not we can beat them.

That used to be a more pleasant thought than it has been the last few seasons, though.

5. 4 losses in the Super Bowl - 15-1 and then lose to Atlanta...
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 01:10 PM by givemebackmycountry
That kind of stuff.

Edited because I'm a dumb ass and I didn't properly read the question.

So, I'll say Herschel Walker and piss everyone off anyway!

9. Atlanta was 14-2 that year
I kept wondering why people kept talking about Denver and seemed to forget that they still needed to beat an Atlanta team that was 14-2, or maybe even 16-2 by that time.

17. Chuck Foreman.
When Walter Payton was asked who was his role models and who were the running backs he most admired, he always listed Chuck Foreman first. He was one kick-ass running back.
