Have you ever given anyone else some sugar?

I mean, really good sugar. Not clumpy or cubed, all the granules separated and smooth.

And I'm not talking about any that stuff in yellow, blue or pink packets.

I'm talking about the real deal. Pure cane.

What happened when you laid some sugar on that person?

3. I thought you meant the Southern version...

i.e., a kiss.

Also called a "Yankee nickel." When I was very little and my mother asked me to do something, she said she would give me a "Yankee nickel." I thought it meant some sort of money. Nope, just a kiss on the cheek.

I only fell for it once or twice...
