I took a super long lunch today to catch "War of the Worlds"
My boss was on vacation, the other person in my area was out today, and my row of cubes was pretty empty... so, i decided to take a 3 hour lunch and caught "War of the Worlds" at the Crown Theaters in Hartford.

I've never really done this before in my whole 16 years of being out of college. I feel so naughty, but nobody seems the wiser.

5. pretty good...
nothing special... I wish they had done something to modify the martians being killed by a virus/bacteria ending, though. Seemed kind of simplistic. Yes, I know that is how the original went... but, i figured it would have been updated for modern times.

9. In "Mars Attacks", they succumbed to Slim Whitman.
In fact, his voice made their heads explode. :)

2. Three hour lunch!
Whoa. I'd be so afraid someone would miraculously discover they need ME, and only ME, to answer a very important question/solve an impending crisis.

But then, I have delusions of grandeur.

Glad you could sneak out for a picture show!!
