man, too many loud explosions for me. Seems the writers couldn't decide what kind of movie they wanted it to be - I said to my son, are we in the right theater? I wanted to take him to see Herbie Fully Loaded. But I guess he's getting too old for that!

My question at first... is this a Batman movie or a Ninja movie? I love it when the writers can't decide which plot to emphasize. Or it this Ninja thing just part of come unknown Batman canon I missed?

Once they got back to Batman, it was pretty good. And the guy who played Batman was just right, I thought.

2. he's only 9
but I am sure those words are coming soon. I keep trying to get him to take a buddy to see Revenge of the Sith AGAIN. Once was enough for me at this point.

4. I thought it was great. I knew it wasn't for young kids
I think it is rated PG 13.

6. I took an 8 year old. I think the OP was expecting more of a kids movie
Even I got some good scares but again, I loved it. But it isn't a "kids" movie...in my opinion.

7. I would still take my young kids to see it
if I had any young kids. I've seen video games with more violence.

9. well, I knew
it was sort of borderline. He has seen all the Star Wars and LOTR movies, so it wasn't too much of a stretch. I think the noise of all the ( gratuitous) explosions was more of an issue than some of the over the top fighting scenes...
