You gotta check out this cool drawing I did.
I've been working on elevations and sections by freehand drawing for a stadium concept I have (I'm an architecture student, but this is mainly summer freetime stuff), and I just finished my first elevation on computer, on MS Paint. I don't have enough money to afford a CAD program, so I have to make due with what I got.

I don't know what I want to name this project right now, other than "Blue Knights Field". I was inspired by the design of the new St. Cloud State Husky stadium in Minnesota. The college team featured in this drawing is a fake, made-up school from my imagination called the Minnesota Tech Blue Knights. They're an imaginary Division II school in the North Central Conference. MPI is the acronym for the school's full name, Minnesota Polytechnic Institute, as you can see on the press box banner. The stadium seats EXACTLY 4,834 (including disabled seating). I did the calculations myself.

I don't know if I want to add more to the picture. Maybe you could give me some suggestions. Again, this is an elevation, which means it's a technical drawing, not an artistic perspective rendering. I can't add shade and shadow.

Whaddya think??

add a flag on top middle of the press box and you have a complete stadium. Good work.

5. Looks like many of the prints I see
Doesn't tell me much though. If you spent more than an hour on it,I would say I could do it faster by hand. On the other hand, I couldn't do it on a puter so......

11. Sorry, Didn't mean to denigrate your work
No, I couldn't do it freehand in an hour, but with a good drafting setup, yeah, I could. If I had to do it on a computer, it would probably take me days. Also, when I said it looks like many of the prints I see, It was a complement. Looks very professional. I have spent my entire life in the construction industry, looked at thousands of plan sets, and know of what I speak. In other words, good job!

10. That's sweet...
If you change the name to the Pork Butt Ball Breakers, I'll buy both the team and stadium plans:)
