Curious: what do you do when you are in a SUPER bad mood?
(I'm not saying I am, just wondering what people do when they are.)

Do you try to get away from all other people if you can?

Do you beat up your pillow or any other inanimate object?

Scream and growl a lot?

Share!

(I'm not talking about normal run of the mill bad moods. I mean MEGA bad moods.)

and sometimes even lead to a nice endorphin rush - although that takes a lot of pillow pounding

wait, I mean, nevermind :D

13. I've used a really good long workout
and a few minutes in the sun (a bit of Vitamin D) as a mood lifter.

Or at least a way to keep from strangling anyone.

It worked pretty well. With the workout, I was too damn tired to do or say much afterwards, anyway.

It was weird. Not just throw a punch, but to really box. Gloves and all.

And he taught me to throw a good elbow while playing basketball. He thought it was very important for a girl to know how to do that.

Weird guy, I know.

I have a sneaky left hook.

When my dad got older (and drunker) and I got older (and stronger), he decided lessons were over. I'd do this thing where I'd get him defensive and turning to his left, round and round and round, so that he's concentrating more on the right side of my body, then I'd bring up that left fist, BAM right on his jaw.

We were a bit violent, I know.

But after I got that down, he decided we were done.

:D

20. i try to stay away from people,
i don't want to be a total bitch to someone who didn't have a hand in my mood, and my animals, because they fight and make me even madder. i usually make a big old glass of ice tea, get a good book and go in my room to read.

i've tried to go shopping to put myself in a better mood but it doesn't work because there are so many IDIOTS WHO CAN'T DRIVE on the road. i think i just got a little mad.

21. Isolate.
It's best that I not be around people if I'm in a really bad mood. I'm an introvert at the best of times; stress makes solitude an imperative.

25. I think it'd be funny to get a whole bunch of introverts (like myself)
together for a big ol' introvert party right when everyone is in the mood to be left alone. (Because introverts CAN be quite social, as you probably know!)

Would we still feel compelled to socialize because we were there?

Or would it be the most absurd "party" ever, with the guests drifting away to their cars within five minutes of arriving?

27. I put on my iPod
and listen to the loudest, most shrieking, most heinous industrial noise I have on there...the kind of stuff that'll make you bleed profusely from both eyeballs for 6 weeks. It calms me down and pretty much leeches the SUPER bad mood out of my brain.

Oh, and anyone who comes near me is DEAD!

Anyone who ignores my warning (issued only once) and comes near me anyway gets killed twice. :P

some tunes, and some cigarettes. And kleenex.
Rotten gas guzzling filthy habit, I know....but it makes me feel better.
Sometimes I go out to the cemetery to talk to my daughter; that's what I'd do if she were here, so sometimes it helps to do it anyway.
