3. I saw him at Michigan Palace in 1973 or 4.
Everyone was expecting Ziggy, and he came out in a tweed zoot suit with his hair slicked back like a gangster. In 10 minutes he had the crowd in the palm of his hand.

4. Bowie is one of the people
that my fiancee can cheat on me with and I can't be pissed. He's on her list.

One of the coolest people ever.

"When I'm Five"

Reminds me of my own kid when he was about that age.

The "Laughing Gnome" is pretty cool too.

I saw him in Dallas back geeze -- maybe late 80's early 90's. Was kind of disappointed by the show. Seemed like he was going through the motions, but I probably would do the same thing. I wonder if it was lip-synched?

BTW - he didn't do either "When I'm Five" or "The Laughing Gnome" in the concert I went to.

On edit - in honor of this thread, I just put in a casette --"Starting Point" featuring "The Laughing Gnome" among other unknown early efforts like the "London Boys" and "Silly Boy Blue"
