There is no Bog
Roll. You'll have to hold it in or use kitchen roll in its stead.

:hurts:

2. You do realise
that 'bog' is British slang for the commode, - and that the idea of keeping a carnivorous plant in one is a bit macabre?

Have you named it "Bobbit?"

4. You do realize that...
Bog is the Russian word for "God"?

I'm not making this up.

6. Yep...and in fact
The bog is housed in my 'bog' since it has a skylight and is one of the brightest rooms in the house. :)

3. Cool plants
Sarracenia purpurea, some sort of Drosera and what appears to be a butterwort (I had to look that up to refresh my memory --never seen a flower before either). What about the skinny pitcher plants, are they a different Sarracenia species?

9. Cool
I see a drosera rotundifola, or something similar, sarracenia purpurea, and some other sarracenia pitcher plant.

Do you have a copy of The Savage Garden? If not, I'd highly recommend it.

After we buy a house, I'm planning to put a bog garden in back, with a selection of sarracenia.

12. Tried to respond earlier
but DU had gas. :)

Thanks for the book title. I'll look for it.

Yep. Sarracenia's, a sun dew (drosera?) and a butterwort. I'm contemplating a napthene as my next purchase.

How am I supposed to waddle in there with my pants down?

Waddaya mean, I should have checked before I started?
