My son wrote this to his friends and it cracked me up. Thought I'd share....

hello all....i have some sad news that should of been recorded earlier, but...i wanted to make a special introduction for it, so here it is:

my Crown Victoria, "violet", 1992.

she was my first car.

she was my beater car

no longer can i hit the dash board when my cd player doesn't work

no longer can i have infinite heat on high

no longer can i have the broken window for a safety precaution

no longer can i lock my doors with my keys inside and know....no one will take them

no longer can i hear that reassuring "thump", "clunk" and "weezy" sounds from my purring engine....

no longer can i trash my car that rivaled a trash dump

no longer can i squeeze the honk horn i duct taped to my car

no longer can i wait 5 months before giving her a bath.

no longer could i wait to fill up tires that r at 5 PSI as i drive down the road

no longer am i able to take curbs at 35 on an icy day

the smooth ride of real wheel drive....

ill miss it

but alas the tie rod is gone, fallin to a rusty piece of shit

and so my car goes to the auto junk yard

ill miss ya vicky, u were my pride and joy when it came to the road

never again will a car touch me so

on june 3, ian's crown victoria suffered a minor injury that resulted in the car into being put into the junk yard, the tie rod had rotted away. gone to drag on the ground. the outlook was not good, and my father said to the auto dude....take her away. i never realised how much i loved that car until now, even thou i beat it to the pulp, i loved it. poor vicky! shes being made into tuna cans as i type!

ill miss ya buddy we had great times

ian
