I just figured out that it's "Stalking Horse" not "Stocking Horse"
I thought they were referring to some sort of sock puppet.

What a fool I've been!

I'm Jewish so I didn't know the lyrics to all the Christmas carols. In Silent Night, I thought my classmates were singing "Sleep in heaven, eat peas" instead of "sleep in heavenly peace."
