5. What in particular should I back up?
I have all the software on disk and I don't have any
data I need. Is there anything else I need to back up?

10. If you have no data...
... and you have all the software you need on disk, then you're golden...

fdisk and reformat away with gusto, as long as you've got, or can get all your drivers...

4. Would ya believe it says it's not compatible with my system?
Says it will only work with the system it was purchased with. Contacted the builder about the defective disc and they said, sorry, we don't make them any more.
