22. That was my choice too..
... if that doesn't stir you up you might be frozen. Turner is really too much in that movie, and BTW it's one of my all time fave movies too :)

28. Somehow, that scene reached me as overrated
Maybe it's just me, but I have to agree that Kathleen Turner is hot.

2. French movie called "Girl on the Bridge"
No nudity, no sex, it involved a man throwing knives at a woman.... But on a deeper level, it was all about trust, and it was incredibly sexy.

4. I used to hate love scenes
Now they are just mildly annoying. Kind of like, "Come on, come on. Lets cut the crap and get to the car chase."

I don't know why I'm like that.

24. I loved that movie.
I thought the love scenes were very well done.

The first time I watched that movie, it was on Pay-Per-View at like 2 a.m. I was like 15.
A month later, it showed up on the cable bill. It wasn't a fun day trying to explain that to my parents.

17. Atlantic City, Susan Sarandon and some lemons
Susan is working in a fish factory. The only way she can get the smell off is to rub lemons over her body. The movie opens with her doing just that as Burt Lancaster happens to watch her through a window.

Something very sensual about that scene on a lot of levels.

30. Meh
So Ellen Barkin got her panties groped by Dennis Quaid. I loved her a lot more in movies like Drop Dead Gorgeous; her performance in that, though not sexy, was terrific.

31. At the risk of sounding weird - THE MATRIX RELOADED
Not just the scene itself, but the buildup leading to it. And there was nothing titillating or kinky about the love scene between Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss; it was honest, pure, and touching. Made me think this was something I had no business intruding on - the sex act was in itself an act of union, of marriage, of deepest connection.

In other words, the exact opposite of a Vivid flick.

40. There is a scene in "Frantic",
where Harrison Ford's character and the young French girl are dancing in a posh night club. In an air of sudden danger, there is a glimmer of awakening sexual interest (or at least awareness).

And the song that they are dancing to picks up these elements, and has something of the jaded ennui -- the oh-so familiar -- but with a hint of mystery, a hint of real passion, and an element of danger, lurking there underneath the mask of indifference:

"Dance, in bars and restaurants.
Home, with anyone who wants.
Strange, he's standing there alone.
Staring eyes, chill me to the bone."

The music itself starts off sparsely (why bother to make any more music than is necessary to dance?), but currents in it rise and flow, like little sparks of awakening life.

Nice.
