My God, this steak is GOOD!!
I just pan fried me a ribeye with a bit of salt and fresh ground pepper, then made a sauce of vegetable broth and garlic, tossed in some VERY thin asparagus stalks and some cream, reduced it down, swirled in some butter, and voila - holy shit this is good!!!!!

1. Just isnt fair
I love me some steak..big fat thick juicy on-my-grill steak about an inch thick..the meat market dips it in 'battery acid' and delivers it with the tastiest seasoning Ive ever had..

But what good is it, as I have no steak.

no steak at all..

*sigh*

5. And it was SOOOOOOO fucking tender!
Melted in my mouth, but not so much that I couldn't chew it at all.

(I made a steak last year, a porterhouse, that literally DID melt in my mouth, and I had it gone in a couple minutes because I didn't need to chew at all - that's TOO tender for me! I want to enjoy the chew, too!)

7. That sounds heavenly!
I no longer eat red meat so I can just drool thinking about it. The sauce with the asparagus sounds perfect with a good steak.

13. first time I cooked a steak myself
I was in college - splurged for $9 something/lb free range ribeye and broiled it. Even what little gristle there was was happily eaten. Ribeye is good stuff.
