Of course, that also happens to be the ONLY TV show I watch.

Al Swearingen for President!!! He certainly has higher moral standards than the current one.

2. I'm pleased that Zach Braff was nominated for Best Actor, Comedy.
"Scrubs" has a great ensemble cast...one of the best casts on television. But Zach Braff is very, very good in "Scrubs"...it's nice that he got an Emmy nomination.

I'd love for Kiefer Sutherland to win Best Actor for "24".

7. Yeah...but he had blond hair in it.
He played the character who got involved with the muscle guys crowd. I think his character's name was Benjy.

Jason Batemen is perfect for that roll, and may I add, quite dashing.

8. Anything connected with Arrested Development should win something
That show is fantastic.

I'm glad to see that Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter got nominated in the Supporting categories. They're both superb.

11. I am glad to see
The Wool Cap in there. I had forgotten that special movie.

Also anything associated with Arrested Development.

Jon Stewart and the Daily Show, of course.

12. Naw, this year's contenders
piss me off completely. Where the hell is CSI in all that godawful mess? I HATE the fact that premier cable channels can compete directly with regular broadcast network shows. The fucking cable shows should be in an entirely different category--one, they can have more intensity because they ARE pay channels, so they don't have to stick to the damned rules about Standards and Practices, and two, because they ARE premiere channels, they have more money to work with on a day to day basis. So Deadwood and Six Feet Under should NOT be in the same running with Lost, 24 and West Wing. Instead, at least one of the CSIs should be represented, and perhaps even Joan of Arcadia, which despite its cancellation, was a DAMNED good show, and certainly was among the more unique shows on the air. What about Medium? Or Without a Trace?

As far as actors are concerned, again, we're talking apples and oranges. Putting Huff and Deadwood actors in direct competition with broadcast network shows just plain sucks. Where is Anthony LaPaglia? Where is William Petersen or Gary Sinese?

Then three actresses from a freaking fluff show like Desperate Housewives? Come on!! Peyton Place was a million times better than that POS. I can't even watch it without wanting to puke. Where is Jorja Fox, Marg Helgenberger, Emily Procter, Khandi Alexander, Melina Kanakeredes or Marian-Jean Baptiste?

The list in many places looks more like the Peoples Choice awards than an acredited list of Emmy nominations. I am getting more and more ashamed at the Academy and their dumbing down of what used to be THE BEST awards show in the world. I feel like crying at this miserable list of shitty and irrelevant trash. I've watched nearly every single Emmy show for at least the past thirty years at the least, but with this shit in full view, I think I want to be out of the house when this one is broadcast.

16. except for the last category
with the Daily Show, I have seen absolutely zero of anything else on this list - not one actor, actress, drama, comedy or miniseries/special. I think the only show I actually made time for last year on a regular basis was "Battlestar Galactica"

22. Will someone PLEASE give Jane Kaczmarek an emmy
she is so fricking talented and Malcom in the Middle has been a strong vehicle for her for years. But she was always getting overlooked by Sarah Jessica Parker (her show ended the run so this is the first time she wasn't nominated) or :puke: Silicone freak Patricia Heaton from Nobody I know can even stomach Raymond.

Jane Kaczmarek so deserves a win, she gets nominated every year and personally, I'm pretty exhausted from all this 'Desperate Housewives' crap. In a year it'll be a hardly been show and Jane will still probably be doing Malcom
