Does it annoy you when people don't "get" what you are saying?

:) it does me. Think you are a tad naive because they don't understand your point? :shrug: :) No, that's not what I meant...no you aren't getting what I'm saying...

and then you compensate by explaining yourself again but knowing in your mind that the person you are talking to is well meaning but just not getting your point? :)

Maybe I do over-analyze things. ;)

case in point: we were talking about somebody at work with a nasty streak. I said I don't GET somebody like that, and a fellow co-worker thought I was so innocent and I didn't know that about her? No, I'm not naive and I know what she and others are like, it's just like people like her are so alien to me. I knew, just was rather incredulous. :)

I had to explain a little bit (wouldn't want to be misunderstood) Trust me, I'm only too aware of too many people. :)

it seems like explaining would be more impolite than letting them think whatever they think, like I was talking down to them.

but I don't like people misunderstanding me.....

it was a friendly conversation I was having, it was just I was thinking "what am I not getting across?" ;) :evilgrin: :shrug:
