1. Believe in them?
I have a shrine to them in my kitchen. :D

Do you really have better ones in Canada? Yet another reason to like your country.

15. How so?
Describe it for me, please?

You know... When you swipe your tongue over the cream filling and rub it against the roof of your mouth is it smoother and creamier. Is there a richness in the chocolate cookie that exceeds those here in the US.

Come on, let me experience a Canadian Oreo vicariously through you. :P

3. I am embittered by my experience with Oreo
fundamentalists.

They say the ONLY way you can eat them is by unscrewing them and licking the creamy white filling off, but I like to dunk them in milk, then unscrew them

Come on people! It's not just about how you unscrew. Now they want to propose an amendment to the constitution about how people who unscrew like us shouldn't be "ALLOWED" to get married.

Well I have news for you. We are everywhere and we will unscrew however we like. In fact this afternoon I intend to go stand outside an elementary school and start converting little kids to my way of unscrewing. I might even use koolaid instead of milk. So there.

:P

8. I have a confession. I really - really - dislike Oreos. There I've said it
That is a secret I have carried with me my entire life. I was sure beyond anything sane or reasonable I would be labeled an un-American, flag burning, troop hating, apple pie and Mom bashing Democratic liberal because I don't like Oreos. And worse, I love jelly beans.

Forget me DUers, for I have sinned...

13. it's okay. with prayer and therapy you can overcome this oreo bigotry
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 05:06 PM by sui generis
but I have to admit, every once in a while I get a little toasted and spend HOURS on the internet looking at pictures of jelly beans. Big ones, little ones, every last color and flavor. Sometimes I fantasize about eating more than one jellybean at a time.

19. Well, if you're unscrewing the Oreos, then who's screwing them?
That white creamy center had to get there somehow, didn't it?

Screw that. I just soak them with milk and then eat them right before the get to fall apart. The cream acts as a catalyst for my oreo indulgence!

6. so, not that it's any of my business, but
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 05:00 PM by sui generis
which way do you unscrew? It's hard to tell around here with everyone being so open minded and fair about what they do with their cookies.

Orange Juice is pretty kinky though.

on edit: Chips Ahoy - I see - I didn't realize that you couldn't, you know, do THAT. I tried it once with my best friend, but we were drunk and pretended like it hadn't happened later. It took a long time for me to admit that I might be a keebler.

And once, at band camp, I shoved a fruit rollup in my chocolate milk.

10. I swing ALL ways...
Sometimes I unscrew and lick, sometimes I dunk and unscrew, sometimes I dunk and munch without unscrewing... sometimes I even eat Oreos dry, then drink the milk.

And just to show I'm a true lefty America hater, I prefer Silk soy milk to regular dairy milk.

20. The only way to eat an Oreo is
to soak it in milk until it is almost breaking falling in the milk and then you have yummy goodness.
