8. Yeah, I can relate a little
We've been getting thunderstorms in MS in the afternoon and I work with smelly dogs who have to be let outside, rain or shine. Then they love to jump up on me with muddy poo paws. Plus I'm allergic to my rubber boots. Sigh.

10. It's in the mid-80's INSIDE MY HOUSE.
I can't take it anymore. I live in an area where there's usually only about one week a year I want air-conditioning. I've wanted it since early June this year. Unbearable.

16. Cools everything off. I used to love 'em when I lived there.
If you take them away, you're left with Texas. Hot wind, brown grass, stunted "trees".

And as to reptilian republicans, you have the native Jihadist Republican (formerly known as the Common Dixiecrat) and the introduced Golf Republican. In Texas, we've got a fearsome creature who combines the worst of both pests.

I'll take the flying cockroaches any day.

21. Thunder and Lightening are the Least of Your Problems
In that State.

No offense, but work on the hurricanes, the Governor, and the voting issues, and then we can get to the thunderstorms . ;)
