I have an embarrassing confession make.
First off, let me state that I have not taken any action on this horrible, horrible aspect of my persona and I don't intend to. My CD tower is still jam-packed with tons of punk rock and electronica albums by the likes of such bands as Bad Religion, Fugazi, Aphex Twin, and The Orb.

But, you see, the above bands mentioned are part of the reason that this problem has arisen. I admit it here publicly because, as some 12-step group probably says, the first step to solving your problems is admitting you have them.

So here we go.

:(

I like the new Justin Timberlake single.

You should be hung by your thumbs!

Although I just admitted in another thread to still liking... ABBA.

Good call on The Orb though, I'm with you there.

5. I'm facing marital problems
for getting my 3 and 6-year-old hooked on ABBA. I couldn't help it - all of my other tapes have warning labels!

11. Obviously you know NOTHING about polka?
We're not talking some guy who makes humorous songs about polka, we're talking about the classics in polka music including Myron Floren (of Lawrence Welk fame) and Frankie Yankovic, the King of Polka.

12. Are you talking about Timberlake with Black-Eye Pea? BEST song out!
Edited on Tue Jul-22-03 05:11 PM by RememberJohn
"Where Is The Love" is a mass appeal mass distributed liberal anti-war song. SHOCKING radio is playing it. Of course, the message is hid behind a chirpy melody and rap lyrics the station owners don't understand.

PROUD to say I like it.

13. I believe he's referring to "Senorita"
Not a bad little song until that male/female "singalong" towards the end, and then it embarassingly derails.

I pretty much can't stand the kid, but he (or someone who handles him) was smart enough to get the Neptunes, Timbaland, and Brian McKnight to produce the songs on his album.
