2. When my son was five he spent the weekend with his grandparents
Apparently they had him in the TV room with them, watching whatever they normally watch. On the way home in the car, he turns to me and says, "Mommy, do you know who the green river killer is"

Well, now he's 14, I can finally tell him.

9. I became interested too, when Ted Bundy killed 4 FSU women
in their dorm, not a half mile from my house. And I was a student as well, one who fit the profile of med height, long brown hair parted in the middle, etc. I slept on my boyfriend's parent's couch for a LONG time, until Ted got caught by accident. :scared:

8. read Roderick Thorpe's 'River'
to get a very good insight into the freaky world of the serial killer...though it's fiction, Ridgeway type characters abound in every town/ city, and they're considered normal if they only wouldn't cross that DARN line! Thorpe's killer is named Garret Richard Lockman, and, since nobody will actually read it (hey, it'll be a movie someday!), the Green River Killer gets nailed on a lesser charge but the cop (who's the protagonist of the book) knows it well and...arranges for Lockman's jail food to be 'radioactive' hahaha....thus protecting any future possible victims. Written with idea that the real goof GRK never gets caught, Thorpe reassured those who lose heart at idea of the Ridgeway/limbaugh/Coulter/Cheney/Bushwack etc types getting away.....sometimes it's just easier to let the record say that (many thought real GRK maybe got rubbed out or killed himself by mid 90's when 'River' was published....
another positive thing to remember is when we get to hell (if we go there) i wanna play with old punkhead Ridgeway (after limbo, coulter bush etc)...after all, we'll have an eternity to do it :-)
the fucking greasy punk.....
