Issues are complicated because they're complicated. Simplifying them is a logical fallacy.

Silent Majority, big government dems, tax and spend dems, gay agenda, welfare moms, unAmerican liberals......

Just about everything out of their mouth is a buzz word. They have perfected the art of sound bites, the politics of non substance.

Moral relativism is one of my favorites. I'm working on a political site for kids that will define and explain some of these terms, and I'm going to write an entire article about moral relativism.

Another favorite is socialist. I never could figure out why people called me a socialist every time I talked about holding corporate whores accountable. Then I began studying the history of socialism in America, and the pieces began to fall in place. Corporations fear nothing more than socialism, the ultimate third party. They've demonized it by equating it with Godlessness and a lack of patriotism. And anyone who promotes corporate accountability is said to be promoting "socialism," which is the antithesis of Christian Capitalism.

Other right-wing buzzwords include Feminazis, envirowackos, class warfare and Left Coast.
