Whenever I'd post a lot on a thread, it really got annoying.

Right now I have sig lines off. I turned them off to make DU easier to load when I was traveling and on bad airport wireless connections. I'm kinda digging the clean look right now.

What is the need people have to overdo it? 8 graphics, 5 of them animated, 4 of those HUGE, and maybe 12 or 13 quotes thrown in for good measure. :wtf:

It's not only distracting and bandwidth-hogging, it seems to be a cry for help in the attention department. It looks like a fucking billboard. Simplicity is a virtue, people!

But that's just one asshole's opinion. I am right, however.

(maybe you) put him in the microwave. Worst was that @*#$%$ tripping penguin. Two friggin' minutes to load on dialup and for what? A tripping penguin!

Anyway I can't express an opinion on current bad animated gifs; I turned off images months ago. It's the only way to fly in dialup land (and frustrates bandwidth hogs just a tiny bit).

Garth Ennis is good at that, too (I loved "Preacher"). I haven't read much of Morrison's recent work, mostly because he's been doing superhero stuff (which I outgrew when I was around 13 or so)..."We 3" looks interesting, tho.
