1. It was that duet he does with Alan Jackson
I don't know the name of it for sure, but it's about "it's five o'clock somewhere," and it's time for a drink.

2. "It;s Five O'Clock Somewhere". . .
Chorus:
"...pour me something tall and strong,
make it a Hurricane
before I go insane,
It's only half past twelve, but I don't care,
It's Five O'Clock Somewhere..."

Finally, JB wins a music award!!
And he was having a great time of it!! He thanked the producers he worked with in Nashville all his 31 years in the bidness and joked about helping a "struggling artist" (Alan Jackson)

I put the whole show on tape because I was away at a Howard Dean Meetup meeting last night.

Woohoo !! Way to go, Jimmy !!!

3. I would say the CMA's were worth watching.....
1) Johnny Cash deservedly winning everything he was nominated for. Too bad he couldn't be there to see it :evilfrown:

2) Freeper assholes like Toby Keith and Darryl Worley not winning SHIT

One question though - Since WHEN are Kid Rock, Cheryl Crow and Norah Jones COUNTRY SINGERS???

4. Kid Rock
and Sheryl Crow did that country tinged duet and Norah Jones performed a song on a Dolly Parton Tribute album.

5. I think he was there...And he and June were watching.
But that's just that belief in the afterlife that I can't shake.
