I remember reading how he couldn't go to Vietnam because of a piolidal cyst (basically, it's a cyst on your tailbone or in that area) and the Army wouldn't take him. I personally know that is a crock of shit because I have had one since I was 18. I considered serving when I was 20. I even went to MEPS for the physical. They knew about the cyst and they had no problems w/ it since I had mine removed (outpatient, very easy, was in pain for about a two days). MEPS passed me on my physical in 1994.

Strange story - over Memorial Day weekend, I went to Iowa with a friend. We did some carousing in the state and arrived at our hotel at 3 AM to check in. (We had a confirmed reservation and the room had already been charged to my friend's credit card) When my friend went to check in, the girl working the desk said "I have already closed my books for the day. You didn't call to tell me you would be this late checking in. I don't know how to check you in now." So my friend told the girl to call the 800 number and find out how to check us in. So the guy at the 800 number asks to talk to my friend and he said "You didn't tell us you would be this late." So my friend says "And I didn't realize I had to clear my itinerary with this hotel. Should I call and get a note from my mother?"

Guess where we won't be staying again.
