1. What age group are we talking about?
At my age (49), people in their 20's are kids...

28. The year I was 24 was the worst fucking year of my life.
Aside from the year I was 22. But at least no one I loved died when I was 22.

12. Shoot yeah
One day is not enough though. I loved my childhood. Things were simpler then and putting up with the corporal punishment nuns was nothing in comparision to the evil out there today.

17. yes one of those pre-teen hot summer nights
catching fireflies as people listened to the Pirate game on their porches, Girl Scout camping, sleepovers with our female freinds on the porch, spending all day at the pool, thinking we could build a space ship in the backyard. Yup, I'd go back! It was fun and idyllic for the most part. :)

20. Hell no
My childhood sucked for the most part. So many years of parochial school where I felt like none of the other kids I socialized with really had the same interests that I did, along with the fact that I was far too shy to start up any real, lasting friendships with anyone that did. Then there was the complete and utter lack of control over my life.

Yep, my childhood sucked. Although this whole mid-20s-out-of-college-feeling-like-I'm-going-nowhere thing also sucks.

23. Yes, I would, if I could pick which night.
I had some really lousy nights as a kid, but I had some really great ones, too. In retrospect I see that my parents were messed up and my life was far from perfect, but I felt loved and secure and safe. My parents drank too much, but Monday through Friday they were the best parents in the world.

I'd give away ten years at the end of my life to relive the years between 10 and twenty again (and correct all the errors I made).

27. Fuck, no. My parents were assholes and treated me like shit.
It's possible that you were just talking about a child's "mentality," which, er, I've been told that I still have, so, no, don't need that either. But actually being seven years old again? No. Thank. You.
