1. Toddlers belong in "Death Race 2000"
I think they are worth 25 points.

3. I got teenagers now and they are easier to reason with.
Toddlers can wear you out and need constant supervision. I have one teen at college and sending the other to camp tomorrow for a month. Can't do that with a toddler.

5. The snuggliness!
The desire to be with you at all times! The little voice saying, "I love you!" The biting! The playful destructiveness!

7. I don't like to hear about that biting shit. I don't think I did
that when I was at that age. Did you?

9. All my kids bite
The 7-yr-old still leaves teeth-marks on a regular basis.

10. Neither of mine did
so I liked the toddler years. Of course, it's nice that they can read themselves books and poop in the toilet and sleep through the night and get their own snacks and can go outside without wandering in the streets.

I don't miss the toddler years, really. Cute, but done.

Bummer on the biting.

12. I missed the toddler years so much...
I went and got a cockatoo.

The mess. The biting. The snuggliness. The little voice saying "I love you." Only, this toddler has feathers and a beak...

6. Hell no.
It's so much better when they get a bit older and can do a bit more for themselves and communicate reasonably well so they aren't so frustrated and angry all the time.

Also, I'm getting really used to not washing diapers. ;)

13. In some ways
the toddler years were my favorite. So curious. Always learning.

But forever - no way! :)

15. I like flying toddlers with pliers on their faces.
In this case, the pliers are covered with tomato sauce.
