Vas wrong vis Pahk Avenue, dahlink?
Edited on Thu Nov-06-03 03:53 PM by nothingshocksmeanymo
I think it is rather humorous that the people who do not wish their region of the country to be stereotyped have NO problem bashing other locales or calling someone a "Park avenue liberal".

A thread that was started in GD made me think of this. The funny thing is that the SAME people who rail against that which is PC believe it is MORE than PC to bash the right people or bash the right region (i.e. the region everyone else agrees with bashing which is what makes things PC or "group think" in the first place)

I notice the same with those who claim everything SMACKS of elitism...it is NOW WRONG to be educated...snicker...see what YEARS of destroying the education budget in favor if the prison budget will get you?

9. so do you...
can't shake that photo of you posted here the other day. Then there's that funny comment about where you first used KY, followed by your reaction the Matrix 3 (a donkey's tale???)

Magic Rat is leaving the gayboys breathless. We are at his mercy!

4. This goes back to descriptive adjectives to make
a inocuous noun sound like a dirty word. I mean a liberal isn't anything to hate, but a latte liberal, a Hollywood liberal or a Park avenue liberal, that's something else.

6. I'd be worried
I'd be worried about the fact that Dean was born with a silver spoon in his mouth if Bush hadn't had everything he's ever owned to him on a silver platter. How's he going to make fun of Dean's upbringing?

Dean, however, can point out that he got into medical school on his own, not because he was a legacy, and went on to do something worthwhile with his education. Also, he can point to a long and wonderful tradition in this country of wealthy people going into public service, not going into government to feed oneself and one's friends at the public trough.

Kennedys, Rockefellers, and Roosevelts have always served this country. The tradition goes all the way back to the real George W., George Washington. (That family also included Robert E. Lee!)

8. LEEEEESIA DAHLINK was lucky!
If you had to climb up the pole to answer the phone every time a telemarket call came in you'd NEVER be able to eat a meal! Lucky she moved back to Pork Ave when she did!
