My bathroom/hallway flooded!
There was some sort of malfunction with my bath-tub taps, and while I was going for coffee this morning, the damn nozzles broke loose. For the past hour, I have been trying to clean up the mess. My laundry basket was soaked, and I had to start mopping up several gallons of water so my wood floors were not ruined. I am just glad that I came home when I did. This has been such a shitty morning. I have a job interview at 3:00, so I hope to calm down by then.

2. At least it wasn't the sewer pipes backing up
That would have given a new meaning to "shitty morning"

4. Call one of those "Fire, smoke, water rehabilitation" companies FAST
My son had the same thing - about 2 inches of water in three rooms -- it sat over night -- over $20K in damages (his "home oner's policy covered it) - blocked trap in his sewer line.

5. Oh! It wasn't that serious.
It only sat for about probably 10 minutes. It is all fine right now, I thought that I would never get it all dried up, but at least my floors are clean right now. Thank god for hardwood floors!
