Why do conservatives care whether Michael Moore has a film festival?
He's not even showing his movies, he's showing classics.

Their response is to have a right-wing festival at the same time and show a movie that allegedly slams Moore, and a movie produced by Kazan, who of course sold out to the HUAC/blacklist.

Traverse City, MI is not as conservative as they might think it is. The area around it is, but it's summer now, and all the fudgies (not a racial slur-it's a term locals use for tourists, because they come up and buy Doug Murdick's fudge) are in town.

Do conservatives have so little to do that they have to protest every move a liberal makes?

5. "Fudgies" Heh-heh. The word no longer reminds me of parakeets.
I think of Stewie on 'Family Guy'. "What if I have to make a fudgie? Well I just won't, that's all."

6. The RW response to Moore is illuminating...
...in so many ways. Aside from the death threats and threats to his family, I'm sure it all amuses and inspires him.
