11. This was taken in the city of El Segundo, which is just north of LAX,..

It's a pretty little town whose conservative values are gradually changing to a more liberal view as new, younger people move in. And the property values are rising also, though they aren't as high as in the other beach cities...

no new pics of me lately, too busy to stand still! Kittens are doing well, I am ready for them to get fixed and adopted, they are into EVERYTHING these days. I am taking them to get weighed today, if they are at two pounds, it's off to surgery!

16. The city closes off a couple of blocks for the market with trucks, BTW...

We've never had anyone run through those (for those of you who remember the tragic accident in Santa Monica, where a bunch of people died after a driver ran the flimsy barricades).

It's a big, wide sidewalk in the background.

Yes, we typically have nice weather here ...today was a normal summer day...temps in the upper 70's along the coast, and a light breeze. Perfect. Humidity in the 60's-70's normally.

And thank you, kind sir, I am enjoying good health...gotta watch my weight and BP...but otherwise, no complaints!

I've been by Michigan...several years ago, my husband and I had a trip on a large yacht that sailed through the Great Lakes up to Quebec. It was lovely...

Thank you so much! I normally don't look this good in pink...but this time, I think it's because my skin is a bit darker from the sun exposure I had on my recent vacation...Normally, I wear blues and turquoises and light greens; those are really my colors.

I believe my eyes were open at the moment the picture was taken...but I might have been blinking...These digital cameras actually expose the pic a moment after the shutter is clicked...so I could have blinked at that precise moment in time. I don't know...
