One of these days I am gonna kill myself....accidentally

Not on purpose, so don't worry about that:). I am just so damn clumsy and bumbly. Last night I was turning a bedside lamp on and I hit my head on the corner of the headboard. Ouch. Tonight, I was putting away laundry, and hanging some non-dryer items. One of them fell off the drying rack, I didn't realize it until the phone rang and I turned around quickly. I slid across the living room and knocked a table over. Ha!

If you don't hear from me, chances are, the sofa has slipped out from under me and I have fallen out of the window!:7

2. ah yes, the mystery bruises....

It doesn't help that I bruise when I snap my fingers, lol. I have one on my elbow that I found and now I am like "where did THAT come from"

was some sort of blood clot and I was going to die.

Until I remembered accidentally kicking into a crate in my apt.

4. one time i was hanging curtains in my daughter's third floor window

and i realized all that was between me and the concrete below was a full length screen.

another time, i was going to adjust the window above the toilet and thought the lid was down and found my foot stuck in the toilet bowl. Not potentially fatal, just DUMB. ( and thank G the bowl was clean )

Maybe that's because I am a walking disaster area. I was once flirting with a really beautiful klutzy girl after class, and she ran into a door right in front of me! So we are walking outside and I nearly get run over by somebody on a bike, we keep bumping into each other and everything. It was wild. If we ever dated - I didn't close the deal - it would have been like The Three Stooges finding three women just like them to marry. I'm kinda like Moe anway. :)

Hope you're getting good nightly rest.

Seems when I push my life into overdrive, and go without rest, I have "dumb" accidents...hitting head on a shelf while throwing away something in bathroom trash...tripping over a curb in the street...slipping off lower rungs of a step ladder and spraining toes...

Anyway, I totally understand the "accident" thing...won't climb a tall ladder when home alone because sometimes I get too involved in what am doing and forget for a split second to watch out for the simplest move.
