Oh sick I almost drank out of an ashtray

I was sitting here all smug about my good fortune today. (see my one thread about an e-mail I received.) I have a coffee mug that anybody who comes over and smokes uses as an ashtray. It's sitting to the left of my keyboard, right next to a can of Diet Pepsi I just opened. So I'm basking in my newfound semi-glory, and I grab the ashtray which I think is my Diet Pepsi and well, I barely stopped myself from guzzling ashes and cigarette butts. I was lucky.

So are there any odds on what's going to happen when I actually do drink out of this horrid thing? Because, rest assured, I'm probably going to do it at some point.

1. Yikes!

Back in college I once woke up on a Saturday morning from a rough friday night, gearing up for a noon start to the Hawkeye football game. Had a beer for breakfast. Neglected to note that my roomate's beer from the night before was on the same end table. It was full of tobaccy spit. Yep, I downed a big swig. My hangover suddenly got oh so much worse.

2. oh lord I never did that but

most of my friends chew and I have seen people take swigs out of spittoons here and there. Oh it is hideous. Oh yuk. :puke:
