Will be interviewed for TV next week-HELP

Hey DUers,

Just got a list of questions today from a cable channel that is producing a documentary and wants to interview me next week. I wrote a book about the subject of their documentary 8 years ago, but haven't devoted much thought to the topic since.

DAMN I might be on TV and look like a complete idiot. Am swamped with work this/next week and don't have much time to prepare for this. DUers always come through with great advice in a pinch. ANYONE WHO CAN HELP, what do I need to know before being interviewed for a TV documentary, about how to look/speak/explain my views?

1. RELAX.

Breathe normally, enunciate clearly, and speak to the reporter as though you're only talking to the reporter instead of a camera.

2. Read the questions, then sleep on it. I think you'll find the information

comes back to you. Mostly, if you've done enough work to write a book, all that information's still in your head, just waiting for the trigger to let it out again.

3. The interviewer will lead you the way they want you to go.

They will probally just use clips of the interview. Just breath and listen and you will do fine.:hi:
