Bald black guys vs. bald white guys

Ready....fight! Joking.

Has anyone ever noticed (brace yourself for a sweeping generalization) that black men tend to "wear their baldness" better than white guys? I mean, they just look better bald. Why is that?

But I'd say *in general* they don't look as good as their AA counterparts.

That's when I started shaving my head..

I think I got a couple of years left....but I'm fighting it all the way. :grr:

gray streaks at 22, mostly bald at 25. At least I was ahead of the shaved head trend by a few years..

and came across a head shaver. I was interested in the design of it. It looked like you would hold it with the thumb, fore and middle fingers. Do you use one of theese?, or something else?

I used a regular razor for years until I bought an electric, and it literally changed my life. No more nicks and cuts to my scalp, and I could use it on my head every day w/o worrying about my skin. I use scalp wax as well to keep it shiny, too..

In general, I'd say black guys wear everything better than white guys. Clothes, moustaches, and attitude. Hell, black guys even carry excess weight better than white guys. They just have more style. The "bald head" question is hardly a unique one as it pertains to this racial divide.

I was watching a dental floss commercial or something equally mundane when this occured to me. No one was overtly stylish in the least way.

I really just this aesthetically it works better for them. I may be getting myself in hot water here but I think it's a combination of cranial shape and skin tone.

Mr. Clean was HOT. Didn't he have some kind of loop earing too? I think he missed his calling--he could have been a badass pirate!

He was muscular too. Maybe he was a retired pilot.

Keep in mind, I also hoped that buying Calvin Klein underwear would make me look like the models on the package. That didn't work either.

I was sort of hoping someone might have posted the Vin Diesel in the shower pic I've seen here. One certainly never gets tired of seeing that.

Just as with a caucasian, a tan bald guy would be traditionally seen as more attractive than a pasty one. Having a darker pigment also helps when it comes to bearing other types of hairlessness. A lack of eyebrows looks absolutely freakish on someone who is pasty, but on someone with very dark skin it's scarcely noticeable.

He's also an asshole.

Most African American men tend to have hair that would look ridiculously short on most white guys, but it's what we're used to so it looks "normal." Baldness is just a progression of that.

Bald white guys tend to be either trendy, young and healthy or old and... well... old, or skinheads. Old dudes and skinheads are generally not attractive (AD Skinner and Ed Norton notwithstanding), so that immediately nixes 2 categories of bald white guys. The young, trendy white guys usually take care of themselves, but it still often falls outside conventional "beauty" for white guys.

If you look at say Michael Wilbon,who is black(from the best show on ESPN, pardon the Interruption), it looks great.
At the same time, former Green Bay Packer linebacker and great Ray Nitschke, who is white, also makes it look great.

Some people have the right shaped head to look good shaved bald. Michael Jordan looked better than Charles Barkley, and that's not a racial thing.

But, a lot of white guys who shave their heads still have enough hair that's significantly darker than the skin color. So the stubble shows. That looks stupid. But, i know a guy who was losing his hair and he had really light brown hair. When he shaved, you couldn't see the stubble. He looks pretty good shaved bald. And, he has the right shaped skull.

So, if what hair is left doesn't show against the skin color, and the skull is shaped right, shaved bald looks good no matter the race. If you miss those two criteria, it looks bad.

and he looks great. I think A-A guys tend to wear this look better because most white guys' shaved heads look so shiny and reflective.
